Book a verified handyman in Canberra
The jobs that never make it off the list — mounting, assembly, small repairs. ID-verified locals send sealed offers with locked prices; pay when it's done.
How it works
- 1
Describe it once
Tell HaT what's going on like you'd tell a mate — photos help. The AI scopes the job properly so you never repeat yourself to five different people.
- 2
Sealed offers come to you
Verified locals send real offers with locked prices. Bids are sealed — no one sees anyone else's — so what you compare is what they'll actually charge.
- 3
Pay when it's done
Your payment is held safely by HaT and released when the work is complete. If something isn't right, you can raise a dispute before any money moves.

Handyman questions, answered plainly
What can a handyman legally do?
General repairs, assembly, mounting, patching, hanging — most of the household list. What they can't do is electrical, plumbing or gas work, which legally needs a licensed trade. You don't need to know where the line is: describe the job and HaT routes it to the right trade automatically.
Is my job too small to post?
No. Small jobs are exactly what this trade is for, and posting is free. If you've got several small things, list them all in one description — one visit covering the lot is usually better value than booking each separately.
How is a handyman verified without a licence?
Every handyman on HaT passes ID and ABN verification before they can see a job, and those with current public liability cover carry a verified Insured badge. Reviews on their profile come only from real, paid, completed jobs.
